“ We decided to try Hot Mama's new location. We haven't been there since 2020. My wife tried a salad and was disappointed in the size. It had a few tomatoes and 1 egg with lettuce and other items which wasn't as good as one she had at another restaurant. I had a Ruban sandwich which tasted good and had pulled pork and ham. Not as described on the menu as OVER stuffed sandwiches. Had a bowl of chili which i didn't Ike because it had very little meat and lots of beans. Also tried the boneless wings which i enjoyed because they were moist instead of very hard skin. ”

“ Our last night in Hilton Head and some really good bbq was the goal. We found it at One Hot Mamma's. We got to where we thought the restaurant was - saw signs, but no restaurant. Asked around and found out it was next door (it's near an office park area). The poor signage was going to drop my rating to 4 stars until I found out they had just moved 3 days ago after 17 years at the other location. And the move occurred in a freak snow/ice storm in the area. We were greeted by the owner and seated in a booth where my husband could watch football ( the playoffs). The interior was really nice & bright. Colored lights on the ceiling, comfortable booths & lots of tvs. You have to go outside to get to the building with the bathrooms. In New England where we are from, that would be a hardship. However on Hilton Head, where it usually hs warm (except the we we visited), it perfectly fine. Everyone working there was so nice & welcoming. The food was amazing. I had the smoked fried chicken. Easily enough food for 2. Not very smoky, meat tender and breading so good & not greasy. My husband had the brisket plate which he said was good. I had the strawberry margarita - spicy. Very good until the last quarter. Then even too spicy for me! Sadly, no room for dessert (the pecan pie looked so good). If we were locals, I think I'd be back here on a monthly basis!! ”

“ Tucked behind Riley's, we opted for BBQ dinner tonight! Since most enters come with sides we didn't have any starters. The three of us ordered Pulled pork sandwich, Ribs Plus One (combo), and Pulled Pork Platter. The food was good but deducting a star because all of our sides came more like room temp vs. warm. The Mac and cheese was the standout. Still excited to see their new location - they're set to move in January 2025 just down the road. ”

“ We dined at the outdoor bar to avoid the wait... you know the food is delicious when there's a wait. The ambiance was perfect, nice and chill. We met some folks that were on vacation and they told us the food was so good they've returned several times during their stay. I had smoked wings, amazing! Key lime pie, so good! One of their signature margaritas was pretty tasty as well, it had an orange and cream kind of thing going on. ”
